Micah Burpo

Micah Burpo has been the Director of SOCAL JRS VOLLEYBALL since he took leadership of the club in 2007 from previous Club Director Bob Crowell. Crowell became the owner of the Team Specifit VBC in Downey, CA from 1997-2006. Previously he worked with Hall of Famer Mollie Kavanagh at Asics Tiger VBC from 1984-1996. From its beginning in 2007 with just two team, Micah has grown the club to 30+ teams and 300+ athletes for the 2021-22 season. Micah is the current Assistant Coach for the Cypress College Women’s Volleyball Team with an overall coaching record of 115-39 (75% win percentage).

Micah currently lives in Fullerton, CA and runs his business in Brea, CA. Micah has been married for 22-years to his wife Jennifer Burpo who is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Alicia Pet Care Center in Mission Viejo. They have two Daughters together – Makayla Addison who is 12 and Macie Taylor who is 9. Micah enjoys Directing and growing the TRUE Volleyball Program, spending time and traveling with his Family, Sports Cars and his Faith in God. Micah has been a member of Richfield Community Church in Yorba Linda, CA since 2017.
